St Peter’s will begin its growth to a full primary from September 2017.
It's exciting times at St Peter’s as we move from an infant school to a full primary school.
We are delighted to have our new classroom complete and are looking forward to using this wonderful space with all the children for a wide range of activities.
The new classroom is situated in the corner of the current field. It is a self-contained classroom with its own toilets.
The classroom has been built by TG Escapes who specialise in creating eco-friendly modular classrooms that are designed to inspire young children, creativity and learning. We decided to work with TG escapes as it was obvious that producing an area that will motivate our children, encourage educational play and that will be built with the environment in mind are core principles that sit well with our school.
During 2018/19 two of our three classes continue to be based in the main school building with Reception and Year 1 children in Cygnus amd Year 1 and 2 children in Tucana. The Year 3 and 4 children are based in the new classroom, Pegasus. This year Phoenix Classroom provides an additional learning environment for the children for lessons such as phonics and music.
"The governors, headteacher, rector and staff are all united in a compelling vision of this church school supported by a parent body who actively share in this vision."
