At St Peter's school lunches are provided by The School Lunch Company and prepared at St Kenelm's School in Minster Lovell.
School meals are currently free to all children in Reception and Key Stage 1 ~ this is an entitlement through the government's Universal Free Infant School Meals scheme.
From Year 3 school lunches are no longer free, however your child can continue to eat a hot school meal either daily or occasionally for £2.40 a day. Alternatively, your child can bring in a healthy, NUT-FREE packed lunch.
Payment for any School Lunch Company meals eaten will be due at the end of each month, and notifications will be sent out via Parent Mail.
If you are in receipt of benefits, your child may be entitled to free school meals under the Free School Meal scheme. If you are eligible and register, not only does your child receive a free school meal but the school receives additional funding (Pupil Premium Funding). Please contact the school office for more information.
